DO YOU NEED TO DO YOUR LICENSE?
50cc mopeds can be ridden on a Car License (C class) in WA. Every scooter or motorcycle above 50cc – and faster than 50km/h top speed – requires a Motorcycle License (R-E).
However, there is an option to do an “automatic” license only (R-E/A). This is commonly called a scooter license, but it allows you to ride a 2 wheeled vehicle with automatic transmission up to 660cc of engine capacity.
