The People is one of KYMCO’s most iconic scooters, first released in 1999 and became an instant success, particularly in Europe the People is seen as the ideal commuter. KYMCO’s new People builds on the success of the model by developing class leading features combined with modern styling. The new People 150 S comes with loaded with standard options included that make it hard to find anything else needed for everyday use: High windscreen, hand deflectors for protection, two channel ABS and full LED lighting for safety and a colour matching top box that provides ample storage. 

NEW ENGINE

The People S 150 is powered by KYMCO’s new 150cc, 10KW, 4-valve engine, which is the same engine that powers the recently released Like 150 R. The new engine provides a smooth and linear output throughout its power band, prefect for inner city commuting. • A bearing tensioner design reduces possible cranking noise at high rpm
• Intake confined within resonance compartment reduces low frequency noise

ENHANCED FRAME

New high rigidity frame, the KYMCO engineers have made changes to the framework to increase the People S rigidity, resulting in quicker and easier handling characteristics.

Further enhancements have been made in the following areas:

• Addition of a horizontal engine support for added stability at higher speeds
• Better weight distribution by moving more weight forward to improve cruising stability. This has been achieved by moving the battery and fuel tank forward towards the front of the scooter
• The People S now has a shorter wheelbase to increase the scoots agility to help with navigating through city traffic
• USB charging port

A colour matching top box is part of the People’s standard fitout and adds storage options for a full face helmet, additional gear or whatever else need to be transported.

BOSCH ABS brakes are the most reliable and fastest acting emergency braking system on the market. The People as well as the new Like 150 are equipped with Bosch’s 9.1M ABS system, which is the lightest anti-lock braking system in the industry, at only 0.7kg.

Huge underseat storage offers a floating partition that lets the rider divide the storage into two sections.
