Sometimes we sit in the shop and just stare. Then move our chair and look again from another angle.
One thing is for absolute sure: Either way you can expect to get attention. A lot of attention. In our opinion, it is one of the most beautiful machines ever built. It is highly unusual that “concept vehicles” ever make it beyond a motor show and into production – just one other reason why the 946 is so very, very special.
The technology of the Vespa 946 has been the foundation of the Vespa Primavera. Compared with current small body models, it marks a step forward in technological content and construction quality: led daylight running lights and rear lamp, new digital instruments including a trip computer. The 4-stroke 3 valve electronic injection, in the Bellissima now with a 150cc engine, guarantees improved fuel consumption and reduced emissions.
Safety First with Vespa
Technology means little unless it protects the user. Safety is a key concern for the Vespa 946, whose technical solutions provide rider and passenger with more than enhanced riding pleasure and comfort: Improved solid steel body framework, larger 11” wheels, a new front suspension with the shock damper hinged to the base and a new engine mounting system that reduces vibrations are the most significant improvements adding to safety and comfort. Last but not least it is the only smaller engine Vespa model that is equipped with ABS and traction control as factory standard.
